While we have already integrated Italian Electronic Invoicing in WHMCS, now there is a need to do something also for other countries.
Italy is at the cutting edge in electronic data interchange systems in fact it has been really difficult for us to complete the integration with WHMCS. Other countries seem to use simplified approaches. On one hand that's a good news because it means easier integrations but on the other there are tens of countries using electronic invoicing. Integrating them all is the real challenge.
We came up with the idea of creating a "general purpose" WebService for Electronic Invoicing that can be used by anyone. This way people have something to start with. Below you can see the Plugin section of Billing Extension with this new plugin. We'll let you know when the WebService is ready for use.
